Now you know that you suffer from urinary tract infections

Urinary tract infections, known as dysuria is quite a common phenomenon especially among women. Though there have been reported cases of the same in men as well, the ratio somehow stands out to be on a much lower scale. Nevertheless the fact that continues to be a matter of concern is that every 3rd women are said to experience it for a second time as well.

Recurrent urinary tract infection might prove to be highly fatal to the body of a female if registered for a prolonged time period. Chronic infections do not usually develop into something very serious if medically treated right from the early stages. However if not, it can cause severe complications within the body itself. Urinary infection can essentially affect any part of the entire urinary system like the ureter, bladder, kidney or the urethra.

Essential symptoms of Urinary Tract Infection

Alike all other infirmities, urinary tract infection too does have certain common symptoms of their own kind. However, adults do have a very common tendency of ignoring these as something quite temporary.

1. A strong pungent smell while you urinate

2. A stinging or a burning feeling when you urinate.

3. The colour of the urine can range from anywhere between light or dark pink all the way to red and cloudy.

4. You have a constant and strong desire to urinate at all times.

Urinary infections become quite recurrent when the bacterial isolate remains within the body of a woman and is enhanced in a certain way. Though prevalent among all ages, the ratio is more on an increase among women of the younger age groups. Escherichia coli is said to be the prime bacteria responsible for the infection among most patients registered with the problem.
